With the looming June 30 deadline threatening to trigger monthly late penalties, the City of Regina is urging property owners to take advantage an array of flexible payment options — including a drive-thru kiosk — to clear their 2026 property taxes on time.
Tax notices were distributed to homeowners on May 29, and municipal officials are reminding residents that any payments finalized after June 30 will automatically incur penalties.
For those looking to avoid a lump-sum bill, the city is heavily promoting its Tax Instalment Payment Plan Service (TIPPS). Property owners who enroll in the automated monthly payment program before June 20 can successfully bypass late fees for the 2026 tax cycle.
The drive-thru kiosk will operate on McIntyre Street next to City Hall on June 26, 29, and 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but will only accept pre-written cheques accompanied by the original tax bill.

Online and telebanking: Payments can be processed directly via personal online banking, telephone banking, or in-person at most major financial institutions.
City Hall counter services: In-person transactions are available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. using cash, cheque, or debit card.
Credit card portals: Electronic credit card payments are accepted online exclusively through authorized third-party payment processors.
Residents can instantly review their property assessments, manage accounts, or register for paperless electronic notices by logging into the city’s digital portal at Regina.ca/eProperty.
