The Saskatchewan Roughriders might not play this week, but the CFL’s regular season kicks off.
The reigning Grey Cup champions are on a bye week, along with the B.C. Lions and Toronto Argonauts.

While Saskatchewan isn’t practicing this week, there’s plenty of Rider news to talk about, as the team announced its cuts from training camp, as well as unveiling its Grey Cup rings.

Jamie has been the host of The Green Zone since its inception in 2013 and is respected across Canada for his award-winning work, covering and commenting on sports. He grew up in Lumsden, Sask., and has gone from being a fan of the Riders to one of the go-to experts on the club. He hosts the pre- and post-game show with Darrell Davis and Belton Johnson.
Britton grew up in Regina and remembers going to Rider games as a child. Now, he gets a chance to cover the team daily, bringing up-to-the-minute reports and insight from players and coaches from practice as well as pre- and post-game interviews.
