An active shooter at a health clinic in Pelican Narrows has prompted an alert for people to find shelter indoors.
CJME News is trying to identify the clinic, which Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) told CJME News was not a government clinic but owned by the First Nation.
A SaskAlert said people should stay away from the Pelican Narrows area and find a safe location and lock their doors.

The alert added that people should not approach the shooter, wait for an RCMP update and asked police locations not be shared.
People should also call 911 in an emergency, it said.
An update from Saskatchewan RCMP said the situation was rapidly unfolding and officers think the shooter is a man wearing all black clothing with a face covering. RCMP said he is travelling on foot but they could not confirm the direction of travel
Saskatchewan RCMP said it would provide updates as soon as possible.
The incident comes just over a week after leadership called for help to deal with rising crime and violence.
Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation Chief Peter Beatty called last week for more long-term support prompted by the discovery of the body of 16-year-old Jay’siiah Webb-Long, who had been reported missing from Ontario, and the killing of Jaden Custer, 26, on May 21.
“The recent deaths of Jay’siiah and Jaden have deepened the grief and fear that many in Pelican Narrows are already carrying.
“These losses come amid ongoing and serious violence in the community, including multiple drive-by shootings in recent weeks, Molotov cocktails thrown at a home, and numerous firearms and bear spray incidents. One shooting injured two people. Another shattered the windows of a home,” PBCN said in a statement posted on social media.
