A Regina man is facing 14 charges after Carlyle RCMP say a White Bear First Nation man was held against his will at a home on the nation on Sunday.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on May 26 that the man was able to escape and was treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after officers were called on May 24 around 5:50 p.m.

Police said the injured man had been forcibly confined, threatened with a firearm, and repeatedly assaulted at the home and the man charged was arrested at a home on White Bear First Nation around 7 p.m. that same night.
Police said during a search of that home, officers found an axe and a handgun.
The 28-year-old Regina man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, breaking, entering, and committing a crime, uttering threats, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, careless use of a firearm, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, possession of a restricted or prohibited weapon with ammunition without a licence and five counts of weapons possession contrary to an order.
He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Regina Police Service for attempted murder, RCMP said, and is scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court on May 28.
