The body of an Ontario teen missing since March 2025 has been found by Saskatchewan RCMP officers near Pelican Narrows.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on May 18 that the remains of 16-year-old Jay’siiah Webb-Long were found on May 13 during a planned search.

Police said an autopsy took place on May 15 to identify the teen. His family has been notified, police said.
Webb-Long was last seen on March 27, 2025 leaving his home in Brampton, Ontario. His mother reported to Peel police that she had been in contact with him over Instagram but all communication stopped on May 16.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on Sept. 5, 2025 that Webb-Long had been living in Pelican Narrows around the time of his disappearance.
Peel police said that Pelican Narrows RCMP went to an address where he was believed to be staying, but the home and area had been evacuated for wildfires in the area. A full evacuation order was ordered for the community on May 27.
Peel police said at the time of leaving his home that Webb-Long was considered vulnerable and police and his family were concerned for his well-being.
