A 29-year-old man is recovering in hospital after a shooting in Regina on Thursday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the 900 block of Retallack Street shortly after 7 a.m. While the initial call suggested a house had been shot at, police said additional information led the officers to find the victim outside on Smith Street.

Police said the victim was taken to hospital by paramedics “with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.”
The Regina Police Service said the shooting is under investigation, and anyone with information that could assist investigators was encouraged to contact police or make a report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
