The first steps for the 2026 Saskatchewan Roughriders are underway.
Saskatchewan’s training camp is in full swing as players stake their claims as to why they can be the ones to help the Riders raise the Grey Cup in 2026.

While there are a number of veterans returning from last season, there are a few positional battles taking place to keep an eye on.
That includes the backup quarterback spot, where Jack Coan will look to prove he can be the guy to lead the team if Trevor Harris misses any stretch of time.
There are a couple of other spots where a new starter will need to emerge, such as defensive end and in the wide receiver group.
