Saskatoon drivers will need to navigate around two separate bridge closures on Friday night.
According to the City of Saskatoon, the Traffic Bridge will be closed between Spadina Crescent and 11th Street starting at 7 p.m. on Friday in order to allow workers to clean the structure.

The city said the work is only expected to take a single night to complete, and detours will be put in place. The closure might have an impact on Saskatoon Transit as well, the city added.
Meanwhile, the University Bridge remains closed to non-essential traffic as workers complete repair and refinishing work. That closure began on April 6, and is expected to wrap up in June.
While the bridge remains open to essential traffic like emergency vehicles, police have warned commuters that they could face tickets if they cross the bridge during the closure.
More information on current construction projects can be found on the city’s website.
