A teen boy in White City found himself in handcuffs last week after allegedly making threats over social media.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, Mounties got a report about the alleged threats last Tuesday and traced them to an address in White City. Police raided the home on Thursday, along with officers from the Regina Police Service and Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit.

“Officers arrested a male teenager,” the RCMP said in a statement issued on Tuesday morning. “We are unable to identify the teenager as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.”
Police said the teen has been charged with uttering threats and counselling someone to commit an offence. RCMP did not share the teen’s age or the nature of the alleged threats.
The boy made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Monday, the RCMP said.
