The Saskatchewan Roughriders’ Grey Cup tour is coming to an end in the team’s home base this weekend.
The provincial tour, which has been winding its way through the province since February, will conclude on Sunday at the First Nations University of Canada’s Spring Celebration Powwow at the Brandt Centre in Regina, with Gainer the Gopher and members of the 2025 championship Rider squad in attendance from noon until 2 p.m.

“We’ve said all along this Grey Cup belongs to Saskatchewan, and the Community Tour brought that to life in a powerful way,” Craig Reynolds, the team’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
“Connecting with fans across the province has been deeply rewarding for our organization with each stop on the tour reminding us all over again who we play for.”
The tour, which kicked off in Humboldt on February 7 to fulfill a long-standing promise by the team, has seen the trophy stop in 37 communities around Saskatchewan. And that doesn’t include the personal trips some players, coaches and staff also made with the trophy.
“As we return the Cup this weekend, we do so with a great deal of pride in what we accomplished together,” Reynolds added.
There will be one more chance for Saskatchewan football fans to see the cup in person after Sunday, the team noted, as the trophy will be back in the province on June 13 for the teams’ game against the B.C. Lions at Mosaic Stadium in Regina, when the Riders unveil the team’s 2025 championship banner.
