Police and coroners are investigating after a man was found dead in Regina’s North Central neighbourhood early on Monday morning.
According to the Regina Police Service, officers were called to the 3100 block of Fifth Avenue at around 1:15 a.m., where they found the man dead.

“Officers secured the area and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit and the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit,” the police force said in a statement.
“At this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public. The victim’s name will not be released at this time.”
Despite keeping the man’s name and other details of the case under wraps, police asked any members of the public with information that could help further the investigation to contact police or make an anonymous report through Regina Crime Stoppers.
