Police in Saskatoon say two women were robbed on the street in separate incidents on Thursday evening.
In the first case, police said a woman was pinned against a wall and robbed by a group of people outside Midtown mall. According to police, officers were alerted to the robbery on First Avenue South at around 9:15 p.m.

“Upon arrival, officers learned that a woman had been approached from behind by a group of unknown persons who pinned her to the exterior wall of the mall and robbed her of her property,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“The victim then ran to a nearby taxi to seek assistance as the suspects fled on foot.”
Police said other officers who were also responding to the robbery found the three suspects nearby with the victim’s belongings, and they were arrested without further incident.
Two men, ages 31 and 38, along with a 22-year-old woman, are now facing robbery charges, police said.
Woman robbed in Massey Place
Meanwhile, police said a woman was robbed and then followed by her attackers in the Massey Place neighbourhood on Thursday evening.
Police said officers were called to the 100 block of Mackie Crescent for a report of a robbery at around 8:30 p.m.
“Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been walking in the area when she was approached by two unknown persons who robbed her of her property,” the police force said in a statement.
“The victim ran to a nearby home to seek assistance; however, the suspects began following her. As the homeowner opened the door, the suspects fled in the opposite direction.”
Police said officers found and arrested the suspects nearby, and the victim’s property was also found in the area.
“As a result, a 30-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man have been charged with robbery and failure to comply with court-imposed conditions,” police said.
