The Water Security Agency has lifted a precautionary drinking water advisory for Weyburn.
The advisory was issued last Tuesday following a malfunction at the city’s water treatment plant. According to the City of Weyburn, testing has confirmed that the water quality now meets provincial standards.

Residents and businesses can resume normal water use, as tap water no longer needs to be boiled prior to consumption. However, residents may wish to briefly run cold-water taps to refresh household plumbing.
The city thanked the community for its patience and co-operation during the advisory.
