Weyburn residents across the city woke up to no water or very low pressure on Tuesday morning.
At approximately 7:20 a.m., the City of Weyburn released a water-pressure advisory for the entire city, saying it is aware of the issues and is working to restore service as quickly as possible.

The city also asked residents to limit non-essential water use until the issue is resolved.
The cause of the issue is not yet known.
The city has also issued a boil-water advisory, which will remain in effect until further notice.
As officials are working to resolve the issue, residents were advised to boil drinking water for at least one minute at a rolling boil prior to use. Water used for any activities where it may be ingested should also be boiled. The city also advised residents not drink from any public drinking fountains in the affected area.
Tap water can still be used for washing and bathing.
