In the aftermath of the crashes, traffic between Valley Road and Lorne Avenue was restricted to a single lane, police said, but those restrictions were lifted shortly before 2 p.m. The police force did not say how many crashes occurred or how many vehicles were involved.
“At this time there is not believed to be any injuries,” police said in a statement.
The crashes happened amid a late-season snowfall, which is affecting visibility on Saskatoon’s roads, but police did not say if weather was a factor in the crashes.
