Regina police responded to two different vehicle collisions on Wednesday night, one fatal and one leaving a driver injured.
Just after 10 p.m. on March 18, officers were called to a single-vehicle collison at Ross Avenue and Ring Road, according to a release from the Regina Police Service.

Officers found a vehicle that had left the road and hit a part of the overpass. Officers tried to provide first aid to the one man in the vehicle.
EMS arrived at the scene. Shortly after, the man was declared dead, police said.
Man injured in second lone-vehicle crash
Earlier that evening, around 6 p.m., Regina police responded to a collision on Ring Road between Assiniboine Avenue and Wascana Parkway.
Officers learned that the driver was the only person in the vehicle and was travelling north on Ring Road when he lost control of the vehicle, which left the road, went into the ditch and hit a tree.
Several witnesses to the crash helped pull the driver from the vehicle, which started on fire shortly after.
Regina Fire and Protective Services and EMS responded to the scene first. The driver, a man, was taken by EMS to hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the crash, according to a news release.
