RCMP said a person was found dead at the scene and their family has been notified. The Saskatchewan Coroners Service needs to formally identify them before more details – like age or gender – are shared with the public, according to RCMP.
Warman Fire Chief Russ Austin confirmed there was only one victim, but wrote in an email, “no other details are releasable on our end.”
That includes where in Corman Park the fire occurred.
According to the RCMP, the cause and origin of the fire is under investigation by the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency, who didn’t respond to CKOM’s request for comment by deadline.
