Police in Prince Albert are asking the public to keep an eye out for an inmate who was released from the city’s provincial correctional centre by mistake.
“On March 4, 2026, police were dispatched the Prince Albert Correctional Centre for a report of an inmate who was released in error,” the police force said in a statement.

According to police, the inmate is Dagan Mckenzie, who stands 6’1” and weighs around 214 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The news release from police did not say why Mckenzie was jailed.
Police asked anyone who spots Mckenzie to report the sighting to police or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
