“Those from rural Saskatchewan know that a barbecue is more valuable than its typical use,” said Cpl. Chris Gramlich from the Rosetown RCMP, noting that in many communities it supports fundraisers, gatherings, events and, in this case, specifically the local curling rink.
Police said the vehicle, a red GMC or Chevrolet half-ton pickup truck with a silver rear bumper and black mudflaps, was seen leaving town with the trailer on surveillance camera.

The barbecue trailer, which was custom built, had white rims, a black barbecue, two propane tanks, red and white reflective stickers around it, and no licence plate, police said
Police would like to see any dash cam or surveillance footage that may have captured the barbecue being towed away on the morning of Feb. 17.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Saskatchewan RCMP at 310-RCMP, their local police service or to inform Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or at saskcrimestoppers.com.
