A man convicted in 70 incidents of voyeurism, trespassing at night and indecent acts will likely be sentenced next month after being arrested the same day he got out of jail.
Saskatoon Police Service warned the public on Feb. 14 about Kyle Hameluck’s release from the city’s provincial correctional centre, and Hameluck was arrested that same night around 7 p.m in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South.

Police said Hameluck was arrested for breaching court imposed conditions, which the court heard last week was related to using a cell phone or device that can take photos or videos.
A hearing is set for March 18 in Saskatoon Provincial Court, when the Crown and defense could argue over an appropriate punishment for Hameluck.
The maximum sentence for breach of a probation order is four years in prison.
“Many people were wondering how in the world a prolific person involved in voyeurism and the victimization of predominantly women within Saskatoon (is) being released?” Police Chief Cam McBride said on Monday.
In an interview on The Evan Bray Show, McBride said legislation and rules have to be followed, but said “we knew it was only a matter of time upon his release that he would go back to his old ways.”
According to McBride, Hameluck breached his conditions within four hours of his release.
Over a decade of voyeurism, probation breaches
In September 2024, a series of incidents at the University of Saskatchewan campus led to 49 charges against Hameluck, including sexual assault, 37 counts of voyeurism, four counts of prowling by night, three counts of breaching probation as well as intimidation, criminal harassment and possession of stolen property.
In March 2024, Hameluck appeared in court for voyeurism, stalking and harassment. In 2021 he was sentenced for breaching probation conditions by unlawfully being in a dwelling house.
In 2020, Hameluck pleaded guilty to 37 voyeurism charges related to homes and off campus residences near the University in 2018 and 2019.
According to police at the time, 42 videos of 25 different women were found either partially undressed, naked or engaged in sexual activity on his phone. He was also on probation during that time for masturbating in public and recording women through their windows in 2014 and 2015.
