After what police described as “an extensive investigation,” officers raided a basement suite on Seventh Street on Friday.
“During the operation, the adult male exited the residence and was taken safely into police custody,” the Prince Albert Police Service said in a statement.
Police said the officers searching the suite found and seized 1,515 grams of cocaine, 1,328 grams of MDMA, 608 grams of methamphetamine, 152 grams of fentanyl, about $12,500 in cash, three cell phones, a money counter, a digital scale and what police described as “kilo-level drug packaging materials.”
The 34-year-old man is now facing several charges, police said, including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possessing the proceeds of crime over $5,000.
He made his first court appearance on Tuesday.
