8:30 – Nine people were killed and at least 25 injured after a mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C., with six victims found dead inside the local high school, another dying en route to hospital, and two more killed in a nearby home believed to be connected. The suspect, believed to be a student, was found dead from a self-inflicted injury, as police say the motive may never be known in what is now one of the deadliest school shootings in Canadian history.
