Chief Scott Eashappie of Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation will go to trial, after pre-trial dates were set by a judge.
On Monday, Eashappie concluded his preliminary hearing at Regina Provincial Court.
He was charged by File Hills Police Service with fraud over $5,000, theft over $5,000, money laundering and breach of trust in March of 2025.
Pre-trial dates have been set for Eashappie for March 20 at Court of King’s Bench in Regina.
