All-CFL receiver KeeSean Johnson will be staying in Saskatchewan for the next two seasons.
The American wide receiver has signed a two-year extension with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the CFL club announced on Thursday. Johnson enjoyed a stand-out season with the Riders in 2025, suiting up for all 16 regular-season games and catching 86 passes for four touchdowns and 1,159 yards.

βA crucial part of the Roughriders offence, Johnson led the league in second-down receptions with 39, posted four 100+ yard games and averaged 13.5 yards per catch,β the Roughriders said in a statement.
βHe ranked fourth in the league in receiving yards, was tied for third in receptions and despite missing two games, he was tied for the 16th best receptions total in Club history.β
Johnson, who is originally from California, was first signed by the Riders in February of 2024, earning 746 yards and five touchdowns over 56 receptions in his first CFL season.
Before coming to the CFL, Johnson spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills in the NFL.
As a college player, he spent five seasons at Fresno State, playing in 51 games and earning 3,463 yards and 24 touchdowns through 275 receptions.
