According to police, officers tried to stop a vehicle near Saskatchewan Drive and Albert Street at around 3 a.m. on Jan. 19, but the driver evaded them. The police plane later found the vehicle abandoned in the 1400 block of Princess Street.
“All occupants had exited the vehicle and fled the scene,” said the police force.
When officers searched the vehicle, they found Ross’ body inside.
Two people have been charged in connection with the investigation. A 26-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were each charged with committing an indignity to a dead body.
“Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in contact with Ross in the week leading up to January 19, 2026 to contact police,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation was urged to contact police or submit anonymous tips to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
