A 42-year-old woman was arrested last Thursday in connection with a fatal collision that happened on July 15, 2025, on Circle Drive and Laurier Drive.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, the woman was merging onto Circle Drive from 22nd Street West when she tried changing lanes to exit onto Laurier Drive at about 8:45 a.m. in July.
“While changing lanes, she struck a second vehicle which resulted in it striking a concrete support structure,” the SPS said.

The driver of the second vehicle was a 73-year-old woman, who was transported to hospital, where she “succumbed to her injuries,” according to the statement.
A 14-year-old female passenger was also transported to hospital for treatment, she had “serious but non-life-threatening injuries,” noted the police force.
The 42-year-old was charged with dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
