Police are looking for a suspect after a 31-year-old man was allegedly stabbed and assaulted on Sunday evening in the city’s Pleasant Hill neighbourhood.
“The victim reported to Police that he was assaulted and stabbed sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. January 18, 2026 while on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of 20th Street West,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.

The victim is recovering from “non life-threatening injuries,” according to police.
The suspect was described as male, around 30 years of age with brown hair. He was also reported to be wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans at the time of the alleged attack.
Police asked anyone with information that could help the investigation to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
