A Saskatoon man is facing 30 charges after fentanyl, methampthetamine and firearms were seized from homes in Saskatoon and Radisson.

On Tuesday, the RCMP’s North Battleford Crime Reduction Team-Gang Task Force (CRT-GTF), with support of the Saskatoon Police Service, searched a home on 8th Street East in Saskatoon as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
“While at the residence, officers located and seized approximately 231 grams of fentanyl, approximately 115 grams of methamphetamine, more than 40 pharmaceutical-style opioid pills, a firearm, ammunition, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and a sum of cash,” police said.
Six people were arrested at the home.
On the same day, the North Battleford CRT-GTF conducted another search warrant at a home on Goodrich Street in Radisson, which is around 60 km northwest of Saskatoon.
Here, police found and seized a sawed-off firearm, a handgun, ammunition and two firearm magazines.
One of the men arrested in Saskatoon is facing 30 charges, including 16 counts of weapons possession contrary to an order, drug possession with the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen property.
The 38-year-old man will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Jan. 14.
The five other people arrested in Saskatoon were later released from police custody.
