A drug investigation by the Saskatoon police ended on Friday with a pair of arrests and the seizure of several tyles of drugs and weapons, along with a luxury coupe.
According to police, officers arrested a 39-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man in the area of Central Avenue and 103rd Street East, then executed a search warrant covering two vehicles and a home on Egbert Avenue.

During the searches, police said officers seized 501 grams of methamphetamine, 83 grams of fentanyl, 32 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 26 grams of cocaine, 600 ml of gamma hydroxybutyrate, 60 clonazepam pills, 20 opioid pills and $3,889 in cash.
Officers also sized “assorted weapons; including knives, bear spray and imitation firearms” along with a 2001 Toyota Soarer, which police noted was configured for right-hand drive.
“Both suspects have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000, and possessing, producing, selling, importing, or transporting anything intended to produce a controlled substance,” the police force said in a statement.
“The man was also charged with breach of a court order.”
