A 26-year-old Saskatoon man is facing an armed robbery charge after allegedly threatening workers with needles during a robbery on Monday morning.
According to police, officers were called to a retail business in the 100 block of Confederation Drive shortly before 10 a.m.

“Staff reported that a man threatened them with needles while stealing items,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“The male fled the store on foot and was arrested nearby. No one was physically injured during the incident.”
The man was charged with armed robbery, police said, and will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court “at a later date.”
