Related break and enters investigated by Saskatchewan and Alberta RCMP

Two related break and enters involving a stolen vehicle are being looked into by RCMP detachments in Maidstone and Kitscoty, AB.

Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on Nov. 7 that on Nov. 2 officers in Maidstone received a report around 11 a.m. about a truck that had been taken from outside a home overnight. The truck — a red 2006 Ford F-350 with SK plate 821 NWG — has not been found.

Then around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 3, police said Maidstone RCMP was called to a break and enter at a business in Marshall. Police said there was significant damage to the business but no items were reported stolen.

RCMP said that their investigation found three suspects fled the scene in two vehicles — an early 2000s, dark-coloured Ford pickup truck and the red Ford truck previously reported stolen.

Police said the driver of the dark-coloured truck was wearing a grey-green jacket, black hoodie, grey pants and black shoes and the passenger in the red truck was wearing a black coat and light grey pants with a black stripe on the side, while the driver was wearing a black jacket, grey pants and a ball cap.

All three suspects had their faces covered and police are working to identify them.

Then, around 8:45 a.m. on Nov. 3, 2025, RCMP in Kitscoty, AB, received a report of a break and enter to a business in Paradise Valley overnight, where a number of items were reported as stolen.

Further investigation determined the suspects and vehicles matched those of the Saskatchewan incidents, police said.

Both Maidstone and Kitscoty RCMP officers continue to investigate the circumstances of these incidents.
