Two men were hospitalized with serious injuries after a shooting in Saskatoon’s River Heights neighbourhood on Thursday afternoon.
Police said multiple callers reported injured people “at a business and an adjacent parking lot on the corner of Assiniboine Drive and Warman Road” at around 4:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found one of the victims inside a business and the other in a vehicle in the parking lot.

Both men were taken to hospital by paramedics with serious injuries, police said.
“The suspect(s) had fled prior to police arrival,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“Members of the Serious Assault Unit, Forensic Identification Section, and Patrol are continuing to investigate.”
