Police say no injuries were reported after multiple shots were fired at a home on Avenue C North in Saskatoon.
According to police, officers were called to the 1600 block of Avenue C, in the city’s Mayfair neighbourhood, at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

“Upon arrival, officers determined that a firearm had been discharged multiple times towards a residence. Further investigation located spent and unspent casings in the yard of the residence,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“The suspects had fled the area prior to police arrival.”
A police spokesperson told 650 CKOM the home was occupied at the time of the shooting, but no injuries were reported.
The spokesperson could not say exactly how many shots were fired. While officers have not yet determined whether the incident was random or targeted, the spokesperson noted that the investigation remains ongoing.
