A 29-year-old Uranium City man faces charges for allegedly assaulting another man on Oct. 11.
He was also wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant from Black Lake RCMP.

Fond du Lac RCMP received reports of “an altercation” between two men in Uranium City, said police.
“Investigation determined one male assaulted the other, threatened him with a firearm, then fled. The victim reported non-life-threatening injuries to police,” said read the statement.
Police said officers made certain the victim was in a safe location, that the suspect no longer had access to the involved firearm, and there was no known elevated risk to public safety associated with the incident.
The next morning, Fond du Lac RCMP, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Critical Incident Response Team and Saskatchewan RCMP Air Services searched for the man, noted police.
After the man was found in a residence in Uranium City, he was arrested without incident.
The 29-year-old man was charged with pointing a firearm, carrying a firearm for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats to cause harm to a person, uttering threats to cause harm to a person’s animal, failing to comply with a release order, assault causing bodily harm, careless use of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Black Lake RCMP.
His next court appearance is in Black Lake Provincial Court on Nov. 4.
