Two men are in hospital after an early-morning shooting in North Battleford on Monday.
RCMP say officers were called around 7:15 a.m. on Oct. 6 to a home on the 1200 block of 110 Street, where they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers began searching for the shooter immediately, with help from Saskatchewan RCMP’s Police Dog Services. Officers later searched a nearby home and arrested two wanted people, though investigators have not confirmed whether the arrests are linked to the shooting.
Residents in the area can expect an increased police presence as the investigation continues.
“Updates will be provided when we are able. If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public,” police said in a statement.
