A machete attack in Saskatoon’s Massey Place neighbourhood left two people injured on Wednesday.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, officers got a report about the assault in the 10 block of Matheson Place at around 12:30 p.m.

“Both (victims) attended to hospital for treatment of serious injuries,” the police force noted in a statement.
“As a result, two nearby schools were placed into a perimeter lockdown as a precaution but there was no immediate danger to students or staff.”
Anyone with information that could help the investigation was asked to contact police or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
