Police in Saskatoon have opened their eighth homicide investigation of 2025.
According to police, officers were called to St. Paul’s Hospital on Sunday afternoon after getting a report that a male patient had been brought into the hospital with “serious injuries.”

He was later pronounced dead, police said.
No information about the victim or the circumstances of their death was released by police.
“The investigation is ongoing and members of the Major Crime Section are investigating,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement, while asking anyone with information on the death to come forward.
