A 48-year-old woman died after a two-vehicle accident on Highway 219 near Saskatoon Friday morning.
RCMP officers, ambulance and fire services responded to the collision about 15 kilometres of Saskatoon. The driver of one of the minivans was declared dead on scene by paramedics.

She was identified as a woman from a southeast Saskatchewan community. Her family has been notified.
The driver of the other minivan was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Neither of the vehicles had any passengers.
Police said Highway 219 was closed during initial investigation but has since re-opened.
Saskatoon RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
