A man suffered minor injuries after a theft and assault at a hotel in the 500 block of Idylwyld Drive North just before midnight Sept. 1.
The 20-year-old victim said that “three men and a woman with their faces covered and armed with a handgun, broke into the hotel suite,” according to a police statement. After assaulting the victim and taking his wallet and cellphone, the assailants fled.

Man stabbed in Meadowgreen
Officers were called to the 1400 block of 21st Street West at around 4 a.m. on Sunday after getting a report of an injured person.
When they arrived, police said the officers found a 29-year-old man suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
“It is believed the man was nearby the home when he was approached by a male suspect who assaulted him and stole his phone,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
