A suspicious death from last week in the 300 block of Avenue J South is now being investigated as a homicide.
A 27-year-old woman was found dead at the scene.
The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) put out a statement Wednesday afternoon regarding the death.
The SPS Major Crime Section continues to investigate and asks anyone with information to call police or Crime Stoppers.

According to the Saskatoon Police Service, officers were called to the 300 block of Avenue J South just before 1 a.m. on July 31 after getting a report of an injured person.
“Upon arrival, officers located the victim deceased,” the police force said in a brief statement.
No further details about the deceased person were released by police.
This is Saskatoon’s seventh homicide.
