The health authority said the employee’s original pass was reported as lost and a replacement was issued, but it turned out that both passes were being used simultaneously “by both the employee and other individuals.”
Along with the 10-day suspension, the health authority noted that the employee is reimbursing the unpaid parking fees.
Meanwhile, in order to prevent similar losses in the future, the authority said it is enhancing its training for parking staff and implementing a new parking management system.
No other monetary losses in Q1 were reported by the health authority.
