A collision in Ogema, Saskatchewan left a young cyclist dead on Thursday.
According to the RCMP, officers got a report of a serious collision at the intersection of Bradley Street and Saskatchewan Avenue in the south-central community at around 5:30 p.m.

“Investigation determined a vehicle and a child on a bike collided,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“The child was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a boy under the age of 10. His family has been notified.”
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the collision, the RCMP noted.
The crash is currently under police investigation, the Mounties said, with assistance from an RCMP collision reconstruction expert.
