Police in Saskatoon are investigating a suspicious death.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, officers were called to the 300 block of Avenue J South just before 1 a.m. on Thursday after getting a report of an injured person.

“Upon arrival, officers located the victim deceased,” the police force said in a brief statement.
“The death is being treated as suspicious at this time.”
No details about the deceased person were released by police.
The person’s death is under investigation by the police service’s major crime section, and anyone with information that could help the investigation was asked to get in touch with police or make a report anonymously though Crime Stoppers.
