A pedestrian was killed in a crash with a vehicle on Wednesday evening in Saskatoon.
According to police, officers were called to the intersection of Idylwlyd Drive North and Circle Drive just before 10 p.m. after getting a report that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.

“Upon arrival, officers located the adult female victim suffering from life-threatening injuries,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“Police and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures; however, she was declared deceased at the hospital a short time later.”
The woman’s family has been notified of her death, police said, and her name will not be released publicly.
“The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and police are continuing to investigate,” the police service added.
