The 58-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police found three suspects matching the description in nearby Victoria Park.
“The teenagers are now facing charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Uttering Threats. One teen is also facing a charge of Assault,” police said in a statement.
The three teenagers were all released on an “undertaking with upcoming court dates.”
