Saskatoon Transit’s downtown terminal is temporarily moving because of construction and road restrictions.
The terminal and bus stops on 23rd Street and adjacent bus stops will be relocated one block west to 2nd Avenue from July 7 for up to four weeks, the City of Saskaoon said in a news release on July 4.

The city said that “most” bus routes will be temporarily detoured to the new terminal location, which will have signs, adding that transit staff will be on hand to help people find buses and transfers.
Unlike the permanent transit terminal, the temporary location will be open to regular traffic and buses will park along the curb lane, so the city asked pedestrians to be aware they may not be visible to drivers. It also said that bus passengers should use the crosswalks and obey traffic lights at the new terminal location.
The city said that sidewalks and access to the Customer Service Centre will remain open but people should take note of parking restrictions and follow the detour path and use the temporary crosswalks around the work zone.
Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are always available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
