A 24-year-old Prince Albert man is facing charges after allegedly hitting a pair of RCMP vehicles last week.
According to a statement released Monday by the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers got a report that a stolen vehicle had been spotted at a business in Redwing, just north of Prince Albert, at around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police vehicles surrounded the stolen vehicle, the RCMP said, but the driver reversed into one of the police cars, then drove forward into a second RCMP vehicle.
While the police vehicles were damaged, the officers inside were uninjured, the Mounties noted.
The driver then took off on foot, and was arrested after a chase, the RCMP said. Three other men inside the stolen vehicle were also arrested, and one of the men was wanted on an outstanding warrant from the Prince Albert Police Service.
The driver is now facing charges including two counts of assaulting a police officer with a weapon. He’s also been charged with fleeing a peach officer, dangerous driving, possession of stolen property over $5,000, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, mischief over $5,000 and failing to comply with conditions of a release order.
He made his first court appearance in Prince Albert on Wednesday, the RCMP said.
