Police in Saskatoon responded to five separate stabbing calls between Friday and Sunday.
The first case happened Friday morning, when a male victim said he was stabbed in the vicinity of 22nd Street West and Avenue W North.

The second case happened early Saturday morning, when officers responding to a call found a 23-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds in a back alley near Fourth Avenue and 25th Street.
The third incident happened early Sunday morning, when police found a 26-year-old man who said he had been stabbed in the 100 block of Avenue T South.
The fourth stabbing saw officers called to a hotel on Circle Drive West where an 18-year-old man reported that he was stabbed on Sunday afternoon.
“Suspects in the above incidents fled prior to police arrival,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
In a fifth stabbing incident, police an officer on a bicycle was flagged down by a 29-year-old woman near Second Avenue and 20th Street on Sunday evening.
“A 63-year-old female was arrested a few blocks away and has been charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying Concealed Weapon, Obstruction, and breach of court-imposed conditions,” the police service said.
“The victims in all of the incidents were transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”
Five arrested after officer allegedly spots gun in vehicle
Five people are facing a lengthy list of charges after a Saskatoon police officer allegedly spotted a handgun in a vehicle.
According to police, officers were called to a restaurant on Circle Drive West “after it was reported a man was observed with what was believed to be a firearm.”
Police said the suspect was seen entering a vehicle, and officers performing a traffic stop spotted a handgun inside.
“Further investigation determined the firearm was loaded at the time it was seized,” the police service said in a statement.
“Four men, ages 19, 23, 27, and 31, and a 25-year-old woman, are facing a total of 57 charges.”
Bear spray leads to charges for 19-year-old man
Police were called to a hotel on Carindal Crescent at around 1:30 a.m. on Monday after getting a report of a man with a gun.
“Upon arrival, police located a male matching the suspect description and detained him for a weapons investigation,” police said. “Upon further investigation, officers found him to be concealing a can of bear spray in his waistband.”
The man is now facing charges of possession of a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
