Blaine Lake RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating escaped inmate, 33-year-old Garret Gardiner.
He was doing community service as an inmate with the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre in the area of Martin’s Lake Regional Park, which is 29 km north of Blaine Lake, when he fled on foot into the bush at around 12:15 p.m. on May 21.

At the time, he was wearing black boots, green pants, a grey shirt and a ball cap.
Gardiner also has a tattoo of a happy face on his left hand and a tattoo of a diamond on his right forearm.
He has connections to the Buffalo Narrows area, but his whereabouts remain unknown.
In the release from RCMP, it did not say what Gardiner was in prison for or if he’s considered dangerous.
If you see the man, RCMP say that he should not be approached. Anyone with any information regarding Gardiner’s location is encouraged to call Blaine Lake RCMP.
