Police have located both Michael Bouvier and a woman in a rural location near Loon Lake, Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release that the woman was safe and being assessed by paramedics, while Bouvier had been taken into custody.
A Dangerous Person Alert issued by the Saskatchewan RCMP earlier on Friday has been cancelled.
According to an earlier news release, RCMP officers were informed that a woman “was potentially being held against her will on Island Lake First Nation” just before midnight on Thursday.
